Pu-erh tea was first traded in the "Pu-erh" village market during Tang Dinasty and traditionally made into cakes to facilitate its unique characteristic and the convenience of being transported by porters and horse for trade. This premium raw loose pu-erh is superbly aged to offer superior pu-erh aroma and smooth texture. This tea develops some odors reminiscent to cedar and moss, the liquor is dense wth an opaque chestnut colour. In the mouth, this ancient pu-erh tea reveals a velvety thickness giving off licorice and soft woody aromas .
