Black Tea with Horopito - Organic

A full leaf black tea blend with native Horopito peppery leaves delivering a spicy aromatic note... Horopito leaves were traditionally used by Maori to treat fungal skin infection, stomach pain or in decoction as an analgesic. To treat skin complaints, the leaves were bruised and steeped in water or chewed before application, or rubbed on the breast when weaning infants. Small branches were also used by the Tohunga -keeper of knowledge- to lift tapu.
